The cottage is located on the shore of Minnicock Lake in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands in Ontario, Canada. The map above shows the recommended route if you are coming from Toronto.
Recommended Route from Toronto
- Drive north along Hwy 404 toward Newmarket
- Continue onto Exits 65-8 (signs for Woodbine Ave). Turn left onto Woodbine Ave/York Regional Rd 8
- Turn right onto Ravenshoe Rd/York Regional Rd 32
- Turn left on Hwy 48 and drive north
- Turn left at Hwy 12 / Hwy 48 / Trans Canada Hwy
- Take a slight right at Hwy 48 N
- Turn left at Hwy 35, pass Norland towards Minden
- Turn right at County Road 21 / Hwy 121 towards and through Haliburton
- Turn right at Hwy 118 / Maple Ave
- Turn left at Hwy 118 / Mountain Street as it heads up into the hills
- Turn right onto Glamorgan Road (also known as County Road #3) and travel along this road for about 5 km
- Just before you get to the sign that says Minnicock Lake Road you will see a school bus stop. Turn left onto Minnicock Lake Road and travel for about 3 km. This is a hilly roadway.
